PhD student, Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation, University of Portsmouth

Hello visitor, welcome to my personal website! I’m a physicist working on theories of gravity, black holes, gravitational waves and cosmology.

Resume

If you want to find out about my academic career and other related activities, you can find detailed information here, as well as a copy of my CV.

Outreach

Sharing how cool physics is with younger generations and the general public is definitely one of my favourite things to do. Here you will find links and descriptions for several of my outreach activities.

Art Portfolio

As a bonus, here I share some of the art that I like to make, including watercolor, graphite, stone drawing, pottery and digital art.

Research

The aim of my research is to use gravitational waves to test the fundamental nature of gravity. To do so, I mostly employ black hole perturbation theory to calculate how black holes and their ringdown signals would look like in alternative theories of gravity. Then, one can confront this predictions with actual GW observations to falsify or confirm such theories. More details in the Research page!

Resources

Over the years, I have developed some resources which have helped other students and researches and which I’m happy to share in this page.
